n~o< 10 309 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />J <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, November 16, 1981 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened on Monday, November 16, 1981, at 7:00 <br />o'clock p, m. , in the Commissioners Room on the second floor of the County Office <br />building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were Comm- <br />issioners John E. Dotterer, Jack D. Funderburke, K. S. Harmon, Lila P. Nielsen <br />and Gordon A. Wicker. The Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting <br />open for business. <br />Chairman K. S. Harmon presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Reverend Earl Adkins gave the invocation. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held on November 2, 1981, <br />were considered and approved, on motion of Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, <br />seconded by Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, which motion was unanimously adopted <br />upon a vote. <br />There were no road petitions for consideration by the Board at <br />this meeting. <br />Mr. Jeffrey N. Hunter, of the Center for Urban Affairs and Comm- <br />unity Services, appeared before the Board and presented a feasibility study of the <br />County's computing needs and identifying the data processing alternatives. <br />The Lemon Springs Fire Department presented certain materials <br />relative to its membership following which Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved <br />that the resolution entitled "Certification of the Fire Department by its Governing <br />Body", a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a <br />part hereof be adopted. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />
