2012 - / <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />OF RECOGNITION <br />FOR <br />TOMMY L. GODFREY <br />WHEREAS, Tommy Godfrey began employment with Lee County General Services on <br />March 1, 1982 as a Maintenance Worker III; and <br />WHEREAS, Tommy Godfrey was promoted to Chief Maintenance Mechanic on October <br />1, 1992; and <br />WHEREAS, Tommy Godfrey has demonstrated a deep commitment to his job, his <br />fellow employees and to the citizens of Lee County; and <br />WHEREAS, Tommy Godfrey retired July 1, 2012, as Chief Maintenance Mechanic with <br />30 years of total service; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lee County Board of Commissioners to recognize the <br />achievements of Tommy Godfrey and to express its appreciation to him for his <br />dedicated service and contribution to Lee County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for Lee <br />County that it congratulates Tommy L. Godfrey for a career of public service, which has <br />been characterized by a genuine interest in and concern for Lee County and it wishes <br />Tommy L.
