v,COIN <br /> ► ' o <br /> * ii, _A T.: * <br /> == .fit. <br /> 2 l "r Q' <br /> 'iliCAROA'_ <br /> RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF THE <br /> LEE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> EFFORTS IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC <br /> WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners wishes to recognize the significant efforts and <br /> contributions made by Health Director Heath Cain, the 34 employees of the Heath Department, along <br /> with their coordinated efforts with volunteers and other agencies to provide immediate and ongoing <br /> response to the COVID-19 pandemic; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Health Department has continuously adapted to the evolving resources that have been <br /> made available to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Health Department has served as a vital resource connecting the Lee County <br /> community to a variety of options for testing and vaccination along with educating the public as <br /> information regarding safe practices and recommendations are made available; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Health Department has committed dedicated efforts to keeping the community <br /> informed of the spread through contact tracing; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Health Department has utilized relationships with numerous organizations and <br /> businesses in the community to disseminate current information and provide timely access to resources <br /> as they have been made available through the State Department of Health and Human Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Health Department has served a critical role in providing a path toward resiliency in <br /> the wake of the pandemic's impact on the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Commissioners to recognize and express their appreciation <br /> for the valued efforts made by the Lee County Health Department in response to the unprecedented <br /> effects of the COVID-19 public health crisis. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners that it hereby <br /> recognizes the tremendous work and dedication of Lee County Health Department in its COVID-19 <br /> response efforts. <br /> Presented this 18th day of October, 2021. j' <br /> di 1 <br /> ,,__it .
