This is a single-family home residential subdivision served <br /> by public water, individual private septic systems, and public roads off of Sheriff <br /> Watson Road (SR 1162) and Holder Road (SR 1163) in southeastern Lee County. <br /> Phases 1 and 2 were recorded years ago, but the preliminary plat has since expired; <br /> therefore, the preliminary plat must be renewed by the Planning Board and the Lee <br /> County Commissioners, even though the proposed lot configurations are the same <br /> as illustrated on the originally approved plat. If renewed, the developer would move <br /> forward with the creation of lots 29-128. The subject property is zoned Residential <br /> Agricultural (RA) and is identified as tax parcel 9559-39-4946-00 as depicted on Lee <br /> County Tax Map 9650.03 and 9559.01. The Planning Board met on September 20th <br /> and recommended the Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat for River Falls Subdivision <br /> as submitted and to allow the exception. MANAGERS REPORTS <br /> County Manager John Crumpton stated that on Thursday, September 30th at midnight <br /> FirstHealth took over EMS operations from CCH in Lee County. Dr. Crumpton thanked <br /> CCH and the City of Sanford Communications for their cooperation in the smooth <br /> transition. There will be a ribbon cutting at Kiwanis Children's Park on Friday, October <br /> 15th at 10:00 a.m. Black Diamond Trail Designs is on the second trail at the San Lee <br /> Park Gravity Bike Trails. The trail should be completed in the next couple of weeks. The <br /> first beginner trail and return trail have been completed. Due to a very low turnout for <br /> the Veterans Breakfast it has been cancelled this year. <br /> 7 <br />
