and Rockingham has a $100k in kind contribution because they provide buildings for <br /> Daymark in Rockingham County. Sandhills in taking on additional counties, they are <br /> locked into 21 members according to statute. The way they are divided is that every <br /> County has two representatives and Randolph has 3 and Guilford has 4 due to <br /> population. A discussion was had to agree to give Sandhills Center additional Board <br /> seats. If not obtained, Sandhills would have to look at redistributing the current seats <br /> among the counties. The general statutes require that each County must pass a <br /> resolution agreeing to allow Sandhills to request additional seats on the Board of <br /> Directors. 5 of the 9 counties have adopted the resolution. This is a <br /> single-family home residential subdivision served by private community wells and <br /> individual private septic systems that is located off of Cricket Hearth <br /> Road/Carbonton Road in western Lee County. The preliminary plat has expired and <br /> the proposed lot configuration differs from the approved preliminary plat; therefore, <br /> this lot and all future lots within this subdivision must be illustrated on revised <br /> preliminary plats that will be reviewed by the Planning Board and approved by the <br /> Lee County Commissioners.
