Park Master Plan Projects — Paving of the parking lots and tennis/pickle ball courts has begun at Horton and Kiwanis Children Parks. Playground equipment was delivered to both parks. Installation has begun at KCP. Installation will begin at Horton when KCP is completed. Sidewalks and the new basketball courts at Temple Park should be poured in the next 3 weeks. Work on the tennis courts at OT Sloan continues. Completion of this phase of the Master Plan should be completed in September. Lee County Library Architect RFQ —The County received 15 proposals from architects for the design of the new library. Staff is currently reviewing the proposals and will make a recommendation for award at the September meeting. Other Items COVID-19 Update — An update will be provided at the meeting as an agenda item. San Lee Mountain Bike Trails—Gravity Park—An update will be provided as an agenda item. Reports Tax Report— Attached please find the Tax Collection Summary Report for July 2021 . Community Development/Activity Summary — The Technical Review Committee Agenda for the August 26, 2021 meeting is attached. Building Inspections Report— Attached please find the permit report for July 2021. Parks and Recreation Agenda — The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board agenda for their July 26, 2021 meeting is attached. Library — The Library Director's Report for June is attached. The Library Board did not meet in July or August so a summer report will be provided in September.
