BK:00024 PG.0931 <br />Commissioner Parks moved to go into closed session per North Carolina General Statute 143 - <br />318.11(a) (5) to discuss the purchase of real property from Dr. Paul Howard and Dr. Barbara James. <br />The proposed purchase will consist of three (3) properties located at 128 -134 S. Steele Street, 408 <br />Summit Drive and 915 Wicker Street in Sanford, North Carolina. The property on Steele Street's <br />intended use is by Central Carolina Community College for a Small Business Center, the 408 Summit <br />Drive property and 915 Wicker Street property will be used as County office space. Upon a vote, the <br />results were as follows: <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the Board was in closed <br />session. Upon returning from closed session, with all members present, the regular meeting resumed. <br />With no other business to come before the Board, Commissioner Parks moved to adjourn the <br />meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting adjourned at <br />7:20 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />a A.
