Mover: Mark Lovick For: 7 - Arianna Lavallee, Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert Reives, Cameron Sharpe, Kirk Smith, Bill Carver, Mark Lovick Motion Result: Passed V.D UDO Text Amendment / Update per NCGS 160D Planning Director Marshall Downey presented the first of two UDO text amendments to the jointly adopted City of Sanford/Lee County/Town of Broadway Unified Development Ordinance to update the entire ordinance to ensure compliance with state law as per new language within the North Carolina General Statutes regarding Chapter 160D, Local Planning and Development Regulation, a new land use law for North Carolina. The public hearing was held on May 19, 2021. The changes were reviewed in a Joint Work Session that was held at the end of March.
