traffic problems associated with access from the proposed site to the existing transportation network. <br /> The study shall also identify improvements to resolve traffic problems and present solutions that may be <br /> incorporated in the Site Plan. The study shall also include information sufficient to demonstrate <br /> compliance with the Road and Traffic Standards in this section. <br /> 5.23.5.5.5 If the proposed affected land is greater than ten (10) contiguous acres, the special use permit <br /> application shall include a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment of the proposed affected land completed <br /> not earlier than 12 months before the special use permit application date and prepared in accordance with <br /> the American Society for Testing and Materials. <br /> 5.23.5.5.6 The special use permit application shall include a major site plan as set forth in Appendix B-5 <br /> of this Ordinance. In addition to the site plan, the application shall also include an Operations Plan that <br /> details: <br /> • Details on how the mine will operate (where will initial excavation begin, where will overburden <br /> be placed,etc.) <br /> • Hours of operation <br /> • Number of employees,including details on shifts if applicable <br /> • Details on the function of each proposed structure or piece of equipment <br /> • Location of permanent roads(those to be used in excess of one year)and non-permanents roads <br /> 5.23.5.5.7 The special use permit application shall include a copy of the mining reclamation bond as <br /> required by NCGS 74-51 and 74-54 and as submitted to the NC Department of Environmental Quality <br /> (NCDEQ). <br /> ADOPTED this the 71"hday of II&2021. <br /> �' Kirk .
