VI.0 Financing for the purchase of Marelli property for Central Carolina <br /> Community College <br /> Assistant County Manager/Finance Director stated that the County's financial <br /> advisors with Davenport and Company have recently taken bank proposals for the <br /> interim financing for the purchase of the Marelli property for CCCC. The proposal <br /> from Regions Bank includes a .65 percent for a 2 year loan which was the lowest <br /> taxable interest rate received and allows for the flexibility to prepay the loan in whole <br /> or in part at any time. Limited Obligation Bonds would be issued between June 2022 <br /> and June 2023. NEW BUSINESS <br /> VII.ALee County Fire Advisory Board Fire District Budget Recommendations <br /> Lee County Fire Advisory Board Chairman Donald Andrews provided a summary of <br /> the Lee County Fire Advisory Board Fire District Budget Recommendations. The <br /> Fire Advisory Board Chair has completed its annual review of the budgets from Lee <br /> County Fire Departments for FY 21/22, a summary of which is attached and <br /> incorporated into these minutes. None of the Departments tax rates will increase in <br /> the coming year.
