CO1r <br /> IAIF <br /> 7. ;_ <br /> k•� /(:ABT <br /> PERSONAL PROPERTY DONATION AKNOLEDGEMENT <br /> BY RECIPIENT — BRICKCITY TIGERS <br /> The following acknowledgement is signed in consideration of the transfer of personal property <br /> owned by Lee County Government, which includes 97 helmets, 67 jerseys, 138 shoulder pads, <br /> and 216 pants: <br /> I, �/ ,hyo / /'sj, as manager of Brickcity Tigers, acknowledge that Brickcity Tigers <br /> is a nonprofit corporation registered in the State of North Carolina and provides recreation <br /> programs to the youth in Lee County charging reasonable rates. I also provide scholarships to <br /> participants unable to pay the fees. I have had an opportunity to review the resolution adopted <br /> by the Lee County Board of Commissioners and agree to accept the personal property on behalf <br /> of Brickcity Tigers from the Lee County Parks and Recreation Department in an "as is" <br /> condition. Lee County Parks and Recreation makes no warranty as to the condition, safety, or <br /> durability of the donated property. I as the recipient of the donated property understand that the <br /> helmets need to be reconditioned in order to be safe for use. I will not distribute the helmets to <br /> participants until they have been restructured. I agree not to sell any of this equipment or receive <br /> any financial gain on my personal behalf or on behalf of Brickcity Tigers unless it is to further <br /> the programs and services provided to the youth of Lee County. I will provide this equipment to <br /> participants to use free of charge. I, on behalf of Brickcity Tigers, agree to release Lee County <br /> Government from any and all liabilities and/or claims resulting from the donation of this <br /> personal property equipment. <br /> Acknowledged by: <br /> Brickcity Tigers Manager <br /> **A copy of the "Resolution Authorizing the Donation of Personal Property to Nonprofit <br /> Organization Brickcity Tigers" is attached as evidence of compliance with local government <br /> property disposal procedures as set forth by North Carolina General Statute <br />
