2011 - 3.�-- <br />LEE C <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />RESOLUTION <br />HONORING RETIREMENT OF <br />KENNETH R. HOYLE <br />WHEREAS, Kenneth R. Hoyle closed his private practice in January 1992 and began employment with <br />Lee County as the full -time Attorney for the Lee County Board of Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle has served 50 years in the county, serving as the county's attorney for more <br />than five decades and the Town of Broadway's attorney for 28 years; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle was named Lee County Employee of the Year for 2007 by county staff; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle has a vast knowledge of Lee County history and has been recognized as "one of <br />the county's greatest assets" whom everyone depends on; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle, with his soft - spoken manner, always has time to chat and assist anyone in <br />need; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle will retire from Lee County Government on December 31, 2011, with 50 years of <br />county experience; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle will return to work as a part-time employee February 1, 2012, and will hold the <br />title of County Attorney Emeritus. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS do hereby present this <br />resolution to Mr. Hoyle and wish him a happy retirement and well wishes in his future endeavors. <br />Adopted this 13'" day of December 2011. <br />A.
