5) The LCEDC will forward all recommendations for economic incentive packages (favorable or <br />• unfavorable) to the County Commissioners for their review. <br />6) The LCEDC will provide information upon request to any member of the Board of County <br />Commissioners upon their request. The LCEDC Director will notify the County Manager of <br />all requests made by Commissioners and provide a copy to the Manger of any written <br />information that is given to a Commissioner so that all Commissioners may receive the <br />same. <br />7) The Board of Commissioners, with the passing of this resolution, will begin having the EDC <br />Director and staff report directly to the Lee County Manager, Sanford City Manager and <br />Broadway Town Manager (as long as each group continues to fund the EDC). <br />8) During the budget process, the Lee County Board of Commissioners will conduct a 6 -month <br />review of the changes made to the EDC contract and the reporting relationship of the EDC <br />Director to monitor the effectiveness of the change. The Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners reserves the right to review the reporting relationship of the EDC Director to <br />the County if the effectiveness of communications becomes a concern. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution become an amendment to the existing contract <br />between the LCEDC and the Lee County Board of County Commissioners and that all existing <br />provisions in the current contract that do not conflict with this resolution remain in effect. A copy of this <br />resolution will be forwarded to the City of Sanford and Town of Broadway by the Clerk to the Board. <br />This amendment goes into effect upon the approval of both the Lee County Board of Commissioners <br />and the Lee County Economic Development Corporation. <br />Adopted this 5 day of December 2011. <br />ATTEST: <br />a Clerk to th Board <br />a A.
