III. RECOGNITION OF SANFORD POLICE CHIEF RONNIE YARBOROUGH FOR 50 YEARS OF SERVICE III.A Presentation of Resolution Recognizing Sanford Police Chief Ronnie Yarborough Chairman Kirk Smith presented a Resolution recognizing Sanford Police Chief Ronnie Yarborough for 50 years of service, a copy of which is attached to these minutes. General Statute 153A-52.1, the floor was opened for public comments. No public comments were received. V. OLD BUSINESS V.A Request for Approval to Adopt and Acquire Voting Equipment *Pending State Consent* Removed. V.B Updated Project Star Agreement County Attorney Whitney Parrish provided a summary of an updated agreement for Project Star which included a provision that allows for the increase of the incentive grant in correlation to the increase in net new investment. She also noted that while the original public hearing notice advertised 315 jobs, the agreement now includes 325 jobs which is consistent with the JDIG Grant Application with the State and the contract includes a forgiveness in the job numbers as long as there is at least 80% compliance. Mrs. Parrish also requested the authorization to change Exhibit B to make the number of jobs cumulative.
