County Attorney Whitney Parrish presented contracts for two options to <br /> purchase for properties owned by Myrtle Matthews Poe and WESARA Associates, <br /> LLC. In order to gain access to the properties to perform due diligence at each site, <br /> the Board will need to approve the option contracts. The Board will need to take <br /> action prior to the expiration of the contracts on July 31St to decide on whether to <br /> proceed in the acquisition of the properties. <br /> Motion: Motion to approve option to purchase contracts for potential multi- <br /> sport complex site owned by Myrtle Matthews Poe and WESARA Associates, <br /> LLC. NEW BUSINESS <br /> VI.A Request for Aquatics Programming and Renovations at OT Sloan Pool - <br /> Ashley Graves <br /> Ashley Graves provided a presentation in support of year round aquatics <br /> programming at OT Sloan Pool. Mrs. Graves is the founder and CEO of Streamline <br /> Teams. Raleigh is considered one of the largest swim areas in the country rated <br /> 7th while Durham is 4th nationwide. She provided a summary of programming <br /> needs <br /> desired for OT Sloan Pool. Proposals included partnering with CCH and working <br /> closely with the Boys and Girls Club, providing water safety programming at <br /> elementary schools grades 3-5, water aerobics, transportation for high school <br /> 4 <br />
