PF� <br />BK:00024 PG:0850 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />d 0 D cc ( 3 a 0 • 6 0© <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />106 HILLCREST DRIVE <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />APRIL 16. 2012 <br />The regular meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of <br />North Carolina, convened at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room, First Floor, Lee County Government <br />Center, 106 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners present were <br />Richard B. Hayes, Larry "Doc" Oldham, Charles T. Parks, Nathan E. Paschal, Robert T. Reives, Linda <br />A Shook, and James K. Womack. <br />Chairman Shook called the meeting to order and the following business was transacted: <br />Since the budget work session that began at 4 p.m. and concluded at 6 p.m. was adjourned to <br />this specific place and time, the invocation and pledge of allegiance were not repeated. <br />The Board considered additions /changes to the agenda. County Manager John Crumpton <br />asked the Board to add the following items to the agenda for the Health Department: <br />1. Changes to the Consolidated Contract with the State for FY 2012 -13, <br />2. Memorandum of Understanding with the Cumberland County Health Department <br />to receive Community Transformation Grant funds in the amount of $35,000 to <br />support a health promotions position, <br />3. Acceptance of Susan B. Komen grant in the amount of $41,675, and <br />4. Budget Amendments for the above two grants. <br />Commissioner Womack moved to approve the above additions to the agenda. Upon a vote, the results <br />were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />Commissioner Parks moved to approve the Consent Agenda which consisted of the following <br />items: <br />• Minutes from the April 2, 2012 regular meeting, and <br />• Tax Releases and Refunds for March 2012 (copy attached) <br />
