l.(1( <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LEASE OF COUNTY OWNED PROPERTY <br /> PIN 9655-20-2542-00 <br /> WHEREAS, Lee County owns real property located off of Colon Road identified as Parcel <br /> Identification Number 9655-20-2542-00 recorded in Deed Book 1546 Page 455 and further <br /> described as Tract 2 in Plat 2019 Slide 175 recorded with the Register of Deeds located in Lee <br /> County, North Carolina; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County does not currently have a use for the above described property; and <br /> WHEREAS, Lee County agrees to lease the above described property to the City of Sanford for <br /> a term of one year for the consideration of the discharge of any debt owed by the County related <br /> to the Colon Road Water Project; and <br /> WHEREAS, North Carolina General Statute § 160A-274 authorizes the County to enter intp <br /> leases with another government unit; and <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br /> 1.
