Motion: Motion to approve proposal from Alfred Benesch and Company for the <br /> Lee County Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan in the amount of <br /> $55,000 approved in the 2020-2021 annual budget. <br /> Mover: Cameron Sharpe <br /> For: 7 - Arianna Lavallee, Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert Reives, Cameron Sharpe, <br /> Kirk Smith, Bill Carver, Mark Lovick <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> V.0 Consideration of amendment to Audit Services Agreement with Thompson, Price, <br /> Scott, Adams, and Co., P.A. <br /> Assistant County Manager/Finance Director Lisa Minter requested a one year extension <br /> of the Audit Services Agreement with Thompson, Price, Scott, Adams and Company, <br /> P.A. The County is required to have an audit of its financial statements each year. On <br /> 4/2/2015 the Board of Commissioners approved a five-year audit services proposal <br /> with Thompson, Price, Scott, Adams and Co., P.A.. The audit of fiscal year ended June <br /> 30, 2019 was the last year of the contract. An extension of the contract was approved <br /> by the Board on January 21, 2020 for the audit of the year ended June 30, 2020. With <br /> consideration of the COVID- 19 pandemic, Mrs. Minter requested consideration of the <br /> extension of the contract for the audit of the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021. <br /> Thompson, Price, Scott, Adams, and Co., P.A. was able to conduct the last audit with <br /> minimal personal interaction. Around 5,000 people have been vaccinated since December 29th. <br /> About 700 have been vaccinated a second time. The weekly average is about 1,500 <br /> vaccinations a week. There is a rise in calls for 65 plus and Group 1s. The EOC has <br /> been opened and county staff are available by phone to answer questions and assist in <br /> registration. The focus is currently on Group 1 and Group 2. The schedule is full every <br /> Tuesday and they are now scheduling for March 9th. Over 1,000 are signed up for the <br /> clinic tomorrow, and about 25-30 have reported that they have received the vaccine <br /> from another county. There are clinics Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Over 240 <br /> vaccinations were administered Friday afternoon in a three hour period. The Health <br /> Department will be hiring another vaccinator this week through the Alliance. Mr. Cain <br /> thanked the CCNC group from the State, when asked for assistance they provided 4 <br /> contact tracers and case assistance in addition to people providing CVMS entry. They <br /> will be at the Civic Center assisting in data entry. There are currently 10 people helping <br />
