NEW BUSINESS V.A Office Furniture Purchase in support of Project 4836-01-20 Lee Co. Courthouse and Government Center Development Services Director Santiago Giraldo requested approval of the purchase of furniture for the Courthouse and new Register of Deeds building. The purchase includes new Register of Deeds'office furniture in the amount of $37,268.87 and District Attorney office furniture in the amount of$23,276.15, totaling $60,545.02. The furniture for the Clerk of Superior Court is $26,058.82, which will not be taken out of project funds due to the Clerk's office having budgeted for the purchase in the current fiscal year budget. The total for the Register of Deeds, District Attorney, and Clerk is $86,603.86 and will be purchased from Kennedy Office Furniture under State Contract 420A. Also, a re-bid for the vault storage for the Register of Deeds'building was held on December 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The original bid was held on December 11, 2020. One bid was submitted on both occasions.
