Absent: 1 - Robert Reives <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> V.F Acceptance of Lee County Schools Facility Needs Assessment <br /> County Manager John Crumpton presented a request from Lee County Schools for <br /> acceptance of the Lee County Schools Facility Needs Assessment. Every five <br /> years, local boards of education are required by GS 115C-521(a) to submit the <br /> Facility Needs Assessment (long-range plans) to the State Boards of Education. <br /> The State Board of Education requests that both the Board of Education and the <br /> Board of Commissioners certify the survey. The signature of the Chairman of the <br /> County Commissioners does not obligate the County Commissioners to take action <br /> in any way.
