V.0 Bob E. Hales Center. Project 6120-01-21 <br /> Santiago Giraldo, Development Services Director, presented a recommended bid for <br /> rennovations at the Bob E. Hales Center. On November 17, 2020 Lee County <br /> Development Services in conjunction with Parks and Recreation held a bid opening for <br /> the Bob E. Hales Center renovations. Six bids were received from ASJ Wilson from <br /> Greensboro, NC, Ellington Contracting from Siler City, NC, Lomax Construction from <br /> Cofax, NC, BAR Construction from Greensboro, S&S Building and Development from <br /> Greensboro, NC, and Central Builders from Greensboro, NC. ASJ Wilson Construction <br /> submitted a bid in the amount of$243,000 and was confirmed as the lowest responsive <br /> responsible bidder by Sherman Architecture. <br /> Signed Bid Tab 6120-01-21 17NOV2020.pdf <br /> V.D Request for funding from the Airport Tax Reserve Fund by the Sanford-Lee County <br /> Regional Airport Authority. <br /> Assistant County Manager/Finance Director Lisa Minter presented a request from the <br /> Sanford-Lee County Regional Airport Authority for an additional $200,000 from the <br /> Airport Reserve Fund. The Authority will use the funds to supplement$1,800,000 in <br /> grant funding to build a $2,000,000 aircraft storage hangar. The Airport Tax Reserve <br /> Fund had a fund balance of$337,239 at June 30, 2020. Every member <br /> county appoints a voting delegate to the conference and has one vote. <br /> Majority votes are required to approve or alter the proposed goals. The NCACC <br /> Legislative Goals Conference will be held by virtual platform Thursday and Friday, <br /> January 14-15, 2021. Voting will take place via an electronic format.
