II. APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA <br /> Commissioner Robert Reives asked the Clerk to read the attendance as provided in <br /> the Minutes for the December 21, 2020 Board of Commissioners meeting for the <br /> record. Clerk to the Board Jennifer Gamble read from the Minutes noting that <br /> Commissioners Kirk Smith, Bill Carver, Mark Lovick, Cameron Sharpe, and Arianna <br /> Lavallee were in attendance and Dr. Andre Knecht and Robert Reives were absent. <br /> Motion: Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. <br /> Mover: Robert Reives <br /> For: 6 - Robert Reives, Cameron Sharpe, Kirk Smith, Bill Carver, Mark Lovick <br /> Absent: 2 —Arianna Lavallee, Dr. Andre Knecht <br /> Motion Result: Passed <br /> II.A NCAPHA Contract <br /> NCAPHA Master Agreement 2020-2021.DOCX <br /> II.B Minutes from the December 21, 2020 Board of Commissioners meeting <br /> BOC_Minutes_12-21-20_Regular_Meeting_-_Draft.docx <br /> II.0 Approval of Budget Amendment #01/04/21/09 <br /> 01-04-21-09.pdf <br /> III. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Pursuant to N.C. General Statute 153A-52.1, the floor was opened for Public Comments. <br /> The following person spoke during the public comments section of the meeting: <br /> - Sandi Shover, 2730 Waters Edge Drive, Sanford, NC - Remote Submission (Returning <br /> to In-Person School) <br /> IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> IV.A Capital Project Ordinance for Multi-sport Complex <br /> Assistant County Manager/Finance Director Lisa Minter presented a Capital Project <br /> Ordinance for the Multi-Sport Complex. A bond referendum was approved by voters <br /> in November 2020 for$25,000,000 to fund a Multi-Sport Complex project. County <br /> Manager John Crumpton stated that the project ordinance can be amended at any <br /> time by the Board. The proposed ordinance is the best estimate for expenses <br /> related to the project based on the existing plan.
