ev� 24 ; <br />2.5 Examine all sketches, drawings, specifications, proposals, and other documents <br />presented by the Consultant, obtaining advice of an attorney, insurance counselor, <br />and other consultants as the County deems appropriate for such examination. <br />2.6 Provide frequent observation of the project to apprise the Project Manager of <br />specific matters relating to the project that would foster good relations between all <br />parties involved as well as to allow work to progress in an orderly manner. <br />2.7 Give prompt written notice to the Consultant whenever the County observes or <br />otherwise becomes aware of any defect in the project or changed circumstances. <br />2.8 Furnish the Consultant in a timely manner with copies of pertinent correspondence <br />relating to the project which would not otherwise have been delivered to the <br />Consultant. <br />2.9 Bear all advertising, audit and legal costs incident to the proposed project. <br />2.10 Bear all costs incident to compliance with the requirements of this Article. <br />3.0 TIME OF PERFORMANCE <br />The services of Consultant are commenced on the effective date of this Agreement and <br />shall be undertaken and completed in such sequence as to assure their expeditious <br />completion in light of the Agreement. Draft grant application will be submitted for review <br />by March 19, 2012 and final application package will be completed and submitted to CI <br />no later than March 30, 2012. All remaining services shall be completed in not more <br />than six (6) months from the date of the Agreement, unless an extension of time is <br />granted by the County. <br />4.0 COMPENSATION <br />Compensation for the above mentioned scope of services will not exceed Seven <br />Thousand Dollars ($7,000), without permission of the County. Three Thousand Five <br />Hundred ($3,500) is available for application preparation; an additional Three Thousand <br />Five Hundred ($3,500) is available for preparation of work write -ups and /or environmental <br />review records as required by the funding agency. <br />5.0 METHOD OF PAYMENT <br />Payments will be requested on a monthly basis for the work effort extended. Invoices will <br />be paid after grant award is received by County. Compensation will be based on the <br />Schedule of Fees provided in Exhibit A. <br />Agreement for Professional Services a <br />
