24 <br />The Board considered bids for the emergency purchase of a new security system for <br />the Lee County Jail. County Manager John Crumpton stated three bids had been received on <br />February 7, 2012 to replace the jail security system. Bids were received from the following <br />vendors: <br />Norment $367,500.00 <br />Wachter $514,075.00 <br />Stanley Convergent $282,300.00 <br />After discussion, Commissioner Oldham moved to approve the low bid of $282,300.00 from <br />Stanley Convergent for the jail security system. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously. <br />With no further business to come before the Board, Commissioner Parks moved to <br />adjourn the meeting. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Parks, Paschal, Reives, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously with the meeting <br />adjourning at 9:40 a.m. <br />County Board of Commissioners <br />2 <br />
