The Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, North Carolina met in a regular <br /> meeting at the Exhibition Hall of the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center located at 1801 Nash Street <br /> in Sanford, North Carolina, at 6:00 p.m. on December 7, 2020. <br /> Present: Chairman Kirk Smith, presiding, and Commissioners Arianna Lavallee, Mark <br /> Lovick, Bill Carver, Cameron Sharpe, and Andre Knecht <br /> Absent: Commissioner Robert Reives <br /> Also present: County Manager Dr. John Crumpton, Clerk to the Board Jennifer Gamble, <br /> County Attorney Whitney Parrish and Assistant County Manager/Finance Director Lisa Minter <br /> * * * * * * <br /> The Board of Commissioners received from the Lee County Board of Elections a <br /> certified copy of the proceedings of said Board of Elections taken on November 13, 2020, <br /> evidencing said Board's determination of the result of the canvass of the returns of the bond <br /> referendum held in the County of Lee, North Carolina on November 3, 2020, upon the question <br /> of approving 525,000,000 Parks and Recreation Bonds of said County. <br /> After said proceedings had been considered and reviewed by the Board of <br /> Commissioners, Assistant County Manager/Finance Director Lisa Minter introduced the <br /> following resolution the title of which was read and a copy of which had been previously <br /> distributed to each Commissioner: <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULT OF THE BOND <br /> REFERENDUM HELD IN THE COUNTY OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> ON NOVEMBER 3, 2020, UPON THE QUESTION OF APPROVING <br /> S25,000,000 PARKS AND RECREATION BONDS <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, North <br /> Carolina: <br />
