Appendix A: <br /> SNS REPORT FOR LEPC <br /> DECEMBER 3, 2019 <br /> The Lee County Health Department Preparedness Committee would like to thank all <br /> who participated in our Full-Scale Exercise on October 25,2019 at Southern Lee High <br /> School.We learned lot about our planning for such an event-The input we received <br /> from all of partners was greatly appreciated,We especially want to recognize Lee <br /> County Emergency Services,Lee County Schools staff and students, Local CERT,State <br /> PHP&R and CAPRAC Wake County for all their efforts with planning and conducting the <br /> exercise.Your efforts further our understanding and our need to practice to improve <br /> before on actual Emergency Event.We are working on our After-Action Report and will <br /> share this report with all who participated.Thank you tar your assistance, <br /> Next year we anticipate distributing the KI-potassium iodine pills as part of our <br /> preparedness plan to those who live within the 10-mile Emergency Planning Zone of <br /> Shearon Harris Nuclear Plant.We are working with the State Preparedness office and <br /> attending workshops about this distribution, as we learn more we will share this <br /> information with the LEPC. <br /> Thank you to all who have attended our quarterly Epidemiology Meetings at the health <br /> department.These meetings are held on the 21• Friday of the 2"d month of the quarter <br /> at 1:30 in the Gordon Wicker Room.Your attendance and input really improve our <br /> community awareness and assist in our plan. <br />
