With no discussion, Chairperson Holt then called for a vote to accept the minutes as <br /> written. A motion was made by Wallie Tyler to accept and was seconded by Heath Cain,a vote was <br /> taken and all members were in favor. <br /> Chairperson Holt then introduced the agenda for today's meeting and opened the floor to discussion. <br /> With no discussion, Chairperson Holt then called for a vote to accept the minutes as written. A motion <br /> was made by David Vann to accept, Robert Plank seconded this, a vote was taken and all members <br /> were in favor. <br /> There were no members of the public present or signed up to present a public comment. <br /> For old Business, Sarah Arthur from the Lee County Department of Health presented the Strategic <br /> National Stockpile (SNS)update. The details of this report are available in Appendix A of this <br /> document. There were no other items for old business. <br /> Under new business, there were no items for review or discussion. <br /> In other Business,Josh Langdon from North Carolina Emergency Management conducted a <br /> presentation on Ticr II reporting. This presentation looked at the federal and state requirements for <br /> commercial occupancies to report their hazardous materials use and storage. He further went on to <br /> explain the difference between Tier Il and Department of Labor Requirements, defined extremely <br /> hazardous materials, and the use of collected fees and information. Deborah Bigelow asked the <br /> instructor and Director Seagraves if they preferred users to report at the Department of labor <br /> quantities, which is 55 gallons or 500 pounds. They responded with it is not required. but the more <br /> information the better for emergency responders. <br />
