SNS Update 3/20/19: <br /> In the event of a Public Health Emergency: <br /> If during regular business hours(8am— 5pm, Monday-Friday) <br /> (919) 718-4640 -health department <br /> (919) 718-4641 —Environmental Health <br /> (919) 776-7446—Animal Control <br /> After hours reports of Public Health Urgent and Emergency Situations and Public Health Alerts will be <br /> directed through 911 <br /> 911 dispatch will direct calls concerning Public Health and Environmental Health situations to <br /> Emergency Management Services and their staff are required to report to the Lee County Health Director <br /> as outlined in the Lee County Emergency Operations Plan <br /> Lee County Health Director is responsible to for contacting identified Health Department staff and <br /> initiating the Lee County Health Department phone tree. <br /> At our next Epi team meeting on April l2''at 1 :30pm which everyone is invited to, we will be <br /> completely our annual TEPW, Training and exercise workshop planning. This workshop provides us <br /> with the opportunity review and receive input from our partners as to what trainings need to take place <br /> in the next year. <br /> KI Pill Distribution <br /> In the fall of this year we will be distributing KI pills to those that live within the 1 mile radius of <br /> Shearon Harris, the pills last 5 years. We do not exactly when this will take place. The CDC will send <br /> them to the state who then distribute them to us. <br />
