OLD BUSINESS <br /> IV.A Offer to purchase surplus personal property located at 192 Tabitha Lane. <br /> The County originally purchased property located at 192 Tabitha Lane on October <br /> 11, 2019 and later transferred a portion of the property to Bharat Forge on February <br /> 17, 2020 as part of the economic development project known as Project Forge. The <br /> County retained a portion of the property identified as PIN 9655 -20-2542-00. The <br /> residential house and appurtenant structures located on the property are surplus to <br /> the County's needs thus a Resolution was adopted by the Board at the March 16, <br /> 2020 Board of Commissioners meeting declaring the personal property as surplus <br /> and authorizing the sale of the property through the sealed bid process. The sale of <br /> the property is subject to the conditions set forth in the "Personal Property Purchase <br /> and Removal Agreement"a and Bill of Sale to be signed by the buyer. The County <br /> advertised the property in the Sanford Herald on August 14, 2020 and one bid was <br /> submitted by Mr. Jimmie Lee Petty for$500.
