(15 %) <br />Request for Proposal Schedule <br />• RFP Offered: March 14, 2012 <br />• Bid Closing: March 21, 2012 at 3:00 PM (EST) <br />• Award of project: Contingent upon funding from Lee County Government <br />Technical Details <br />Some characteristics of the structured cabling will be as follows: <br />• A minimum of 4 jacks will be terminated at most standard office locations (3 data <br />and 1 voice) Other jack specifications for non - standard offices are denoted in the <br />enclosed Powerplan.pdf document and the Symbols.pdf document <br />• The EOC (room 129) will be outfitted with tables that will have 2 data drops and <br />power outlets at each seat, 6 seats per table <br />• All horizontal wiring shall be terminated in patch panels provided by vendor <br />located in the rack one of two proposed IDFs. All data drops in E91 1 (room 137) <br />will be routed to the 911 server room with the exception of 4 to 6 drops which <br />will be routed back to the EOC server room <br />• Multi -mode fiber shall be used as backbone connectivity to interconnect the <br />2 IDFs with site MDF <br />• Racks for equipment and wiring shall be 7 ft. tall and ability to house equipment <br />of 19 inch width. All racks shall be grounded appropriately. <br />• Vertical wire managers between racks shall be installed. All wire managers shall <br />have plastic cover to hide patch cords within the organizer. <br />• Part of this project may also include the wiring of Coaxial cable to televisions at <br />various locations and other miscellaneous audio /video wiring in the space but will <br />be fairly limited and can be discussed as an ancillary part of the project completed <br />by the vendor or subcontracted out by Lee County Government whichever <br />provides greater benefit to Lee County Government <br />• Additional specifications provided in supplementary bid specifications document <br />attached to this project <br />
