AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />OF LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br />WHEREAS, a request to amend the Official Zoning Map has been received from Abdalfatah M. <br />Abutaha (Case #2012 -0201) to rezone approximately 5.2f acres of land (4 tax parcels) located at <br />3132 Jefferson Davis Highway from Light Industrial Conditional Use (LI -CU) district to <br />Highway Commercial (HC) district; and <br />WHEREAS, said request has been presented to the Lee County Planning Board; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners conducted a public hearing on February <br />20, 2012 to receive citizen input on the requested zoning map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lee County Board of Commissioners approves the request to amend the <br />Official Zoning Map of Lee County, North Carolina; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEE COUNTY BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS: <br />The Official Zoning Map is hereby amended to rezone approximately 5.2 -acres of land (4 tax <br />parcels) located at 3132 Jefferson Davis Highway from Light Industrial Conditional Use (LI -CU) <br />district to Highway Commercial (HC) district. The property is the same as depicted on Tax Map <br />9630.03, Tax Parcels 9630 -04 -8819, 9630 -04 -8717, 9630 -04 -8617 and 9630 -04 -7564, Lee <br />County Land Records. It is also the same as Lots 17 -26 on a survey map of the southern part of <br />the J. W. Knotts Property recorded in Plat Cabinet 2, Slide 356, Lee County Registry of Deeds. <br />A copy of the parcel map is included as Attachment A. <br />ADOPTED this the day of 2012 <br />Li A.
