Aaol', 24 ,, .:F "17'7 <br />Chairman Shook stated base line data is needed to eliminate some of the issues, <br />everyone needs to stand united and focused, and the sharing of information needs to continue <br />with elected officials. <br />It was also noted that the U.S. Geological Survey and Duke University are working on <br />efforts to obtain water samples from local wells and water supplies. <br />It was agreed by all present that additional meetings between the Boards' should be <br />held to keep everyone advised and up -to -date on the project. <br />With no additional business to be discussed, Dr. Foster adjourned the Environmental <br />Affairs Board. <br />Commissioner Hayes moved to adjourn the meeting for the Lee County Board of <br />Commissioners. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Hayes, Oldham, Paschal, Shook, and Womack <br />Nay: None <br />Absent: Parks and Reives <br />Chairman Shook ruled the motion had been adopted unanimously and the meeting <br />adjourned at 6:13 p.m. <br />a A.
