"5i J <br />I <br />LEE COUNTY <br />©nova arao •aoo <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />JOINT MEETING <br />OF THE <br />LEE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AND <br />CENTRAL CAROLINA COMMUNITY COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br />CENTRAL CAROLINA COMMUNITY COLLEGE EMERGENCY TRAINING CENTER <br />3000 AIRPORT ROAD <br />SANFORD, NORTH CAROLINA 27330 <br />SEPTEMBER 29, 2011 <br />The joint meeting of the Lee County Board of Commissioners and Central Carolina Community <br />College Board of Trustees convened at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Carolina Community College <br />Emergency Training Center, 3000 Airport Road, Sanford, North Carolina, on said date. Commissioners <br />present were Richard B. Hayes, Larry "Doc" Oldham, Nathan E. Paschal, Linda A. Shook, and James <br />K. Womack, Jr. Commissioners Charles T. Parks and Robert T. Reives were not in attendance. Staff <br />in attendance included County Manager John Crumpton, County Attorney K. R. Hoyle, Deputy County <br />Attorney Dale Talbert, and Clerk to the Board Gaynell Lee. <br />Members from both Board's and guests observed and participated in a session of the <br />Concealed Weapons class currently being taught at the Training Center. Training Officer James Estes <br />explained the program. <br />Dinner was prepared by the Culinary Class from Central Carolina Community College's Harnett <br />campus. <br />Julian Philpott, Chairman of the Central Carolina Community College Board of Trustee's <br />welcomed guests. <br />A question and answer session followed and an overview of the college were given by President <br />Bud Marchant.
