aroK 24 603 <br />LEE COUNTY <br />Committed Today for a Better Tomorrow <br />RESOLUTION <br />APPOINTING W. DALE TALBERT <br />AS LEE COUNTY ATTORNEY <br />WHEREAS, W. Dale Talbert joined Lee County Government on August 3, 2009, as Deputy <br />County Attorney; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Talbert has worked closely with County Attorney K. R. Hoyle since his <br />employment and also with the Department of Social Services particularly with the Child <br />Support Unit; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Hoyle will retire from the position of County Attorney for Lee County on <br />December 31, 2011; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners must act using the authority vested in it to appoint a <br />County Attorney to fill the vacancy created by Mr. Hoyle's retirement; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Talbert has exercised leadership and management skills in his daily activities, <br />and has demonstrated that he has thorough knowledge of State and local government and the <br />legal system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lee County Board of Commissioners of Lee <br />County, that W. Dale Talbert is hereby appointed to the position of County Attorney for Lee <br />County during the pleasure of said Board to serve as its legal advisory. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, said appointment is to be effective as of January 1, 2012. <br />Adopted this 13 day of December 2011. <br />' n a A.
