g00K 1Q 422 <br />Mr. Buchanan presented another change-order, this one for <br />Bracken & Associates, for engineering services for changes in the Deep River <br />School Water Line, to include the Cedar Lake area. Commissioner Lila P. <br />Nielsen moved that the change order in the amount of $1,400. 00, be approved. <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unan- <br />imously adopted. <br />The Board next considered the matter of the establishment of a <br />vending machine policy. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the County contract <br />with all companies and that all proceeds from vending machines go into the County <br />Vending Fund. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Airequest for a budget commitment and a resolution designating <br />May as "Older Americans" month and designating the week of May 9 through 15, 1982, <br />as "Senior Center" week, were presented to the Board. <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that the budget commit- <br />ment providing for $36, 500 in cash and $11, 500. 00 of in kind support for the Council <br />On Aging, be authorized and that the resolution designating the month of May as <br />"Older Americans" month and the week of May 9 through 15 be proclaimed as "Senior <br />Center" week be adopted. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the Board of Elections <br />be allowed to purchase a Royal 122 Copier and Stand, as requested. Commissioner <br />Lila P. Nielsen seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />A budget amendment was presented to the Board by the County <br />Manager and reviewed by him. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that <br />Appropriation Adjustment No. 82050317 be approved. Commissioner John E. <br />Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. It was <br />directed that a copy of the budgment adjustment be attached to these minutes. <br />The County Manager presented a Project Ordinance Amendment <br />pertaining to the Industrial Park. The matter was discussed and reviewed, follow- <br />ing which Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that the Project Ordinance Amend- <br />ment, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, <br />be adopted. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The monthly release report for March 1982, as prepared by the <br />Tax Supervisor's office, was presented to the Board. The items were reviewed <br />and releases were authorized, upon motion of Commissioner John E. Dotterer, <br />seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, which motion was unanimously <br />adopted upon a vote. <br />
