9~n. r 10 4 38 <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the County designate <br />as the Deep River Fire District, the 19.18 square miles area depicted on the map <br />attached to these minutes and described in the attachment entitled "Deep River <br />Fire District", and that the map and description prescribe the boundaries of said <br />Deep River Fire District for insurance grading purposes. Commissioner Lila P. <br />Nielsen seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the County designate <br />as the Northview Fire District, the 12. 06 square miles area depicted on the map <br />attached to these minutes and described in the attachment entitled "Northview Fire <br />District", and that the map and description prescribe the boundaries of said <br />Northview Fire District for insurance grading purposes. Commissioner Lila P. <br />Nielsen seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the County designate <br />as the West Sanford Fire District, the area depicted on the map attached to these <br />minutes and described in the attachment entitled "West Sanford Fire District", and <br />that the map and description prescribe the boundaries of said West Sanford Fire <br />District for insurance grading purposes. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The grant award from the North Carolina Department of Crime <br />Control & Public Safety for the Youth Services Program, with a total project <br />cost of $11, 831. 00, was approved and execution of the grant award was authorized, <br />upon motion of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, seconded by Commissioner John E. <br />Dotterer, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />The roster of the Northview Rural Fire Department was approved <br />and ordered certified, upon motion of Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, which <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen and unanimously adopted upon <br />a vote. <br />The offer to purchase the following properties which have been <br />received and duly advertised by the County, were accepted and the Chairman and <br />Clerk were authorized and directed to execute deeds of conveyance and to collect <br />the purchase price, as follows: <br />1) House and lot at 208 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, N. C. , bid made by James L. <br />Stockslager, in the amount of $20, 000. 00 <br />2) Vacant commercial lot on Carthage Street, Sanford, N. C. , bid made by <br />Cameron's Body Shop, in the amount of $15, 000. 00 <br />Upon motion made by Commissioner John E. Dotterer, which motion <br />was seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke and was unanimously adopted <br />upon a vote. <br />The Clerk reported that an advance bid was offered in the amount <br />of $16, 955. 00 for the property at 204 Hillcrest Drive, Sanford, N.
