Mr. Harmon assured Mr. <br />Faulk that the matter will be discussed with the Sheriff's Department <br />and the Dog Warden. <br />Mrs. Ruth Lerche appeared before the Board to request assistance <br />in getting city water to six homes on the Lemon Springs Road between the <br />Cooperative Warehouse and Palmer Drive. The Chairman informed Mrs. Lerche <br />that this matter will be referred to Mr. Elwin Buchanan who is presently <br />working on waterline requests received by the county. <br />County Manager Bill Hartman advised the Board that he has <br />approved two budget amendments involving inter-departmental transfers <br />The budget.amendments approved by the County Manager were #82062120 <br />and #82062121. <br />The roster of=the Lemon Springs Fire Department was approved <br />and ordered certified, upon motion of Commissioner Funderburke, which <br />motion was seconded by Commissioner Dotterer and unanimously adopted <br />upon a vote. <br />Mr. Dennis Foushee of the Tramway Fire Department appeared <br />before the Board to advise the Board and inform the public that the <br />county as a whole is covered with fire protection even if they are not <br />located within a certain fire district. <br />Commission Funderburke advised that he is still getting complaints <br />about the junk cars on the highway right-of-way in the Deep River Community. <br />He has also had complaints that the residents are living in a mobile home <br />without proper water and sewer hook-ups. The Chairman directed the County <br />Manager to check into this matter with the Lee County..Health Department. <br />After some discussion, the meeting-.was adjourned until 2:00 <br />p.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 1982, to adopt the FY 1982-83 budget. <br />n, unairman <br />
