6V <br />q^ OK 1 { <br />The County Manager then discussed with the Board the necessary <br />appropriations to balance the budget for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 1982. <br />He explained that extra employees at the jail and food purchases had caused the <br />jail expenses to run $19, 000. 00 more than had been anticipated; that Ambulance <br />expenditures had exceeded their budget by $89000. 00, and Landfill expenditures <br />had exceeded their budget by $7,'000. 00, and that minor adjustments needed to be <br />made in debt service. <br />Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that Budget <br />Amendment No. 82062322 , a copy of which is attached hereto and by <br />this reference incorporated herein, be approved and adopted. Commissioner Lila <br />P. Nielsen seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, Commissioners Dotterer, <br />Funderburke, Nielsen, Wicker and Harmon, voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />The County Attorney reported that there had been no increased bid <br />made as to the offer of Mr. Sammie B. Brown to purchase the property at 204 <br />.Hillcrest Drive, for $16, 955. 00. Upon motion of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, <br />which motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke, and unan- <br />imously adopted upon a vote, it was resolved to sell the property to Mr. Sammie <br />B. Brown, at the purchase price of $16, 955. 00, and that the Chairman and Clerk <br />be authorized and directed to execute the deed of. conveyance, upon receipt of the <br />purchase price. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it <br />was adjourned sine die.
