BOOK 10 PAPA 480 Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen be designated as the County's voting delegate to the meeting of the National Association of County Officials. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that Chairman K. S. Harmon be appointed as the voting delegate for Lee County at the 75th Annual Conference of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners, to be held in Raleigh. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The roster and accompanying certificates of the Tramway Rural Fire Department were presented to the Board and reviewed. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke moved that the list, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, be certified as a true and accurate list of the active firemen, to the Department of the State Auditor. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. County Manager, W. B. Hartman, Jr. , presented to the Board, a budget amendment entitled "Budget Amendment Appropriation Adjustment #82063023;'a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. The County Manager called to the Board's attention the recent decision of the Supreme Court of the United States, which will require a County in Georgia to go from at large voting to voting by districts. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that the schedule of fees and charges to be used in accordance with.the County Animal Control Ordinance, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, be adopted. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the Board go into Executive Session to consider matters pertaining to land acquisition. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Executive Session was closed, upon motion of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, which motion was seconded: by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke and unanimously adopted upon a vote.
