80V :,rr cc <br />Commissioner Gordon A;®WickCerrGg6quested that an inventory be <br />prepared of the property in the Sheriff's Department, so that the newly elected <br />Sheriff would know what property he was responsible for. He also requested that <br />an inventory be made of property which had been seized by the Sheriff's Department. <br />Mr. Terry Windham appeared before the Board and complained about <br />Park Rangers not allowing him to fish from a pier at the San-Lee Recreational Park. <br />Mr. Windham was referred to the County Parks and Recreation Board, and asked that <br />he present his grievance to that Board first. <br />The Board went into Executive Session, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Lila P. Nielsen, which motion was seconded by Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke <br />and unanimously adopted upon a vote. The Executive Session was closed, upon motion <br />of Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen, which motion was seconded by Commissioner John <br />E. Dotterer, and unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />The Board resumed its public session. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer reported that the County was holding <br />monies deposited with it by the League of Women Voters, for use as a memorial for <br />Mrs. Nan Howard. The present principal and accumulated interest amounted to <br />$2,982.42. Commissioner Lila P. Nielsen moved that the funds held by the County, <br />as a result of a transfer from the League of Women Voters which were to be used as <br />a memorial for Mrs. Nan Howard, be transferred to the Friends of the Library <br />endowment funds for such purpose. Commissioner Jack D. Funderburke seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
