BOOK 11 PtH S <br />(d) Commissioner Almond to serve as a member of the <br />Board for the Airport Commission, the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission, and the Industrial Develop- <br />ment Corporation. <br />(e) Chairman Dotterer to serve as a member of the board <br />for the Lee-Harnett Mental Health Authority. <br />Commissioner Matthews moved that Mrs. Wilma Winstead be <br />appointed to the Planning Board to serve her unexpired term on said board. Comm- <br />issioner Almond moved that the nominations be closed and Mrs. Winstead be <br />appointed by acclamation. Commissioner.Dossenbach seconded this motion <br />and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Chair declared Mrs. Winstead duly <br />appointed. <br />Commissioner Almond brought up for discussion, the removal of <br />in-patient services from Dorothea Dix Hospital and the deinstitutionalization <br />program. The matter was discussed but no formal action was taken. <br />Chairman Dotterer asked each Commissioner to be prepared to <br />comment briefly at each meeting on the activities of the various boards and comm- <br />issions in order that the entire board be informed on these matters. <br />The County Attorney advised the Board that in all probability there <br />would be resolutions for them to consider at their next meeting concerning the <br />issuance of industrial revenue bonds in connection with the TRW industrial site. <br />The County Manager advised the Board that the proposed agreement <br />between the County and the Kiwanis Club concerning the establishment of a park on <br />the Reeves property on Wicker Street should be ready for their consideration at the <br />next meeting. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />JOHN E.
