~300~: 11 ?,~sE 1 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, December 6th, 1982 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 10:00 o'clock a. m. , on <br />Monday, December 6, 1982, in the Commissioners Room, second floor, County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. <br />This being the first Monday in December, following a general <br />election at which County officers are elected, those persons who had been <br />elected to County office in that election were to assemble at the regular meeting <br />place of the Board of Commissioners to take and subscribe the oath of office. <br />Those present for such purpose were: <br />Party <br />Jerry M. Almond <br />John R. Dossenbach, <br />Bertha L. Matthews <br />Robert W. Dalrymple <br />Ellen S. Tyner <br />Mary W. Wallace <br />Office <br />Commissioner <br />Jr. Commissioner <br />Commissioner <br />Member, Board of Education <br />Member, Board of Education <br />Member, Board of Education <br />The newly elected Commissioners, namely, Jerry. M. Almond; <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr. ; and Bertha L. Matthews, took and subscribed the pres- <br />cribed oaths of office which were administered by the Honorable William A. Christian, <br />Judge of the District Court Division of the General Court of Justice. The oaths were <br />filed with the Clerk and copies were filed in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court. <br />Following their qualification and induction in office, Commissioners <br />Almond, Dossenbach and Matthews joined Commissioners John E. Dotterer and <br />Gordon A. Wicker, whose terms of office have not expired at the Commissioners' <br />table. All of the Commissioners were present. <br />The Board then proceeded with the qualification and induction into <br />office of the members of the Board of Education. Each of the newly elected members <br />of the Board of Education took and subscribed the prescribed oaths of office which <br />were administered by the Honorable William A. Christian, Judge of the District <br />Court Division of the General Court of Justice. The oaths were filed with the Clerk <br />and copies filed in the office of the Clerk of Superior Court. <br />
