0 <br />oni 1.1?,se 19 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY <br />OF LEE, NORTH CAROLINA <br />4 <br />Monday, December 20, 1982 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 7:00 o'clock p. m. , on <br />Monday, December 20, 1982, in the Commissioners Room, second floor, County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present <br />were Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , John E. <br />Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews, and Gordon A. Wicker. The Chairman declared <br />a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business <br />was transacted: <br />invocation. <br />The County Manager, Mr. Walter B. Hartman, Jr. , gave the <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, December <br />6, 1982, were approved and ordered recorded, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Almond, seconded by Commissioner Matthews, which motion was unanimously <br />adopted upon a vote. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the <br />Board and presented the final plat for the Wallace Creek Subdivision. The map <br />had been approved by the County Planning Board. Commissioner Dossenbach <br />moved that the Board approve the final plat for said subdivision. Commissioner <br />Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, presented for the <br />Board's consideration, the final plat for the Crane's Creek Subdivision. This <br />map had also received approval by the County Planning Board. Commissioner <br />Gordon A. Wicker moved that the final plat for the Crane's Creek Subdivision be <br />approved. Commissioner Dossenbach seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />The Board proceeded to open the bids received on various projects. <br />The bids received on the Lemon Springs Road, Cox-Maddox Road and Colon Post <br />Office Road, project were as shown on the bid tabulation form marked for said <br />project, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made <br />a part hereof. <br />
