44-C <br />The written request of Lois Hooker for a refund for taxes in the <br />amount of $331. 10 for taxes paid in the years 1980, 1981 and 1982, which was <br />double-listed, was presented to the Board. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />moved that the refund be authorized and approved. Commissioner Jerry M. <br />Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />A draft of an agreement for ambulance services between Lee <br />County and the Sanford-Lee County Rescue Squad, Inc. , was presented to the <br />Board. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , moved that the agreement, <br />a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part <br />hereof, be approved and the Chairman and Clerk be authorized and directed to <br />execute the agreement, for and on behalf of the County. Commissioner Gordon <br />A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next discussed the license tax portion of the Animal <br />Control Ordinance, and upon motion of Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , <br />seconded by Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, it was unanimously resolved, <br />upon a vote, to set the privilege license tax at $2. 00. <br />The Board then reviewed the Commissioners reports and the <br />County Manager's report. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it <br />was adjourned, sine die. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
