Boon 11 ct 53 <br />Lee County. The matter was discussed, following which Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond, moved that the Board agree for the digitizing of the soils data and for <br />the appropriation of $3, 000. 00 for the costs thereof. Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />A written request for refunds were recommended by the Tax <br />Supervisor as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Billy H. Dinkins in the amount of $147. 75; <br />M. Cade Covington in the amount of $965. 34; Jimmy Love in the amount of <br />$45.42;'and Mary McLean in the amount of $29. 55. Further, the release report <br />as prepared by the Tax Supervisor's office, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and by this reference made a part hereof, was presented to the Board. Comm- <br />issioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , moved that the releases be approved and that <br />refunds be authorized for the individuals listed above. Commissioner Jerry M. <br />Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The County Manager presented a Budget Amendment entitled <br />"Appropriation Adjustment #8302071011, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />by this reference made a part hereof. After discussion, Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond moved that the Budget Amendment be approved. Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />The Board next considered the matter of appointments. The <br />Board resolved to rescind its previous action in appointing Commissioner Bertha <br />L. Matthews and Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , to the Board of Directors <br />of the Johnston-Lee Community Action Agency and to appoint Commissioner <br />Gordon A. Wicker and Chairman John E. Dotterer to serve in their place and <br />stead so that the three designated representatives are Commissioners Almond, <br />
