0 <br />E-5 <br />500K 12 PAGE 54, <br />Wicker and Dotterer, The Board then appointed Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews to be its alternate representative to the Triangle J Council of Govern- <br />ments and as its representative on the Capital Health Systems Board to serve <br />the vacancy created by the resignation,of Mrs. Lila P. Nielsen. The Board <br />appointed Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker to serve as a member of the <br />Community Development Council. <br />The Board next received the reports of the various Commissioners <br />concerning matters that they had attended of various County agencies. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker requested that a memorial for <br />Dr, James M. McKinnon, in recognition of his services as a Rabies Inspector, be <br />prepared and made a part of these minutes. <br />The Board also discussed the request of Mrs. Johnny Shaw, con- <br />cerning a child who formerly resided with her under the Foster Care Program. The <br />Board concluded there was nothing they could do concerning the situation and asked <br />that Mrs. Shaw be so advised. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />CLER <br />CHAIRMAN <br />
