Commissioner Jerry Almond offered a <br />substitute motion that the Mental Health Authority be requested to submit future <br />locations to the Board of Commissioners, together with a petition from all <br />residents within a five block area, agreeing to such site, before any move, could <br />take place. There was no second to Commissioner Almond's substitute motion <br />and Commissioner Dossenbach.seconded Commissioner Wicker's original motion. <br />Upon a vote on the original motion, it was adopted, unanimously. <br />Representatives of the Council On Aging, appeared before the <br />Board and presented their budget request for the coming fiscal year. <br />Representatives of the Department of Social Services, appeared <br />before the Board' and presented their budget request for'the coming fiscal year. <br />Representatives of Johnson Electric Company, appeared before the <br />Board and explained the process and submitted a bid for improvements to the Lee <br />County Library, which would,be designed to reduce the consumption of energy in that <br />building. Representatives of CH Service, Inc. , appeared before the Board and pre- <br />sented their proposal for a survey and plan to manage the energy requirements at the <br />Lee County Library. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Board go into <br />Executive Session to discuss personnel matters. Commissioner Jerry Almond <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Executive <br />Session was closed upon motion of Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews, which <br />motion was duly seconded by Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, and upon a vote, <br />unanimously adopted. <br />The Board discussed the procedure for preparation of the Budget, <br />and the County Manager was instructed to prepare a Budget with his recommendations <br />for consideration by the Board. <br />There being~no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned, sine die. <br />C <br />
