The Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, North Carolina met in a regular <br /> meeting at the Exhibition Hall of the Dennis A. Wicker Civic Center located at 1801 Nash Street in <br /> Sanford,North Carolina, at 6:00 p.m. on July 20, 2020. <br /> Present: Chair Amy Dalrymple, presiding, and Commissioners Cameron Sharpe, Robert <br /> T. Reives, Dr. Andre Knecht, Kevin Dodson, Kirk Smith, and Arianna Del Palazzo <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also present: County Manager Dr. John A. Crumpton, Clerk to the Board Jennifer <br /> Gamble, County Attorney Whitney Parrish, and Assistant County Manager/Finance Director <br /> Lisa G. Minter <br /> * * * * * * <br /> The Chair announced that this was the hour and day fixed by the Board of <br /> Commissioners for a public hearing upon the order entitled "ORDER AUTHORIZING <br /> $25,000,000 PARKS AND RECREATION BONDS" and that the Board of Commissioners <br /> would immediately hear anyone who might wish to be heard on the questions of the validity of <br /> said order or the advisability of issuing said bonds. <br /> No one appeared, either in person or by attorney, to be heard on the questions of the <br /> validity of said order or the advisability of issuing said bonds and the Clerk to the Board of <br /> Commissioners announced that no written statement relating to said questions had been received, <br /> except as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto. <br /> Thereupon, upon motion of Commissioner Smith , the order introduced and adopted on <br /> first reading on June 15, 2020 entitled "ORDER AUTHORIZING $25,000,000 PARKS AND <br />
