Motion: Motion to approve Budget Amendment#05/04/20/14.
Mover: Cameron Sharpe
For: 7 - Amy Dalrymple, Kevin Dodson, Arianna Del Palazzo, Dr. Andre Knecht, Robert
Reives, Cameron Sharpe, Kirk Smith
Motion Result: Passed
VII. MANAGERS REPORTS
County Manager John Crumpton has been working with Department Heads that are
closed and not operating to the public to develop plans to get programs back up and
running. For example, the Parks and Recreation Department, depending on what the
Governor does this week, starting next Monday, all park facilities would be open with the
exception of restroom facilities until a sanitation plan is in place. Open spaces will be
open with the encouragement to maintain social distancing. The second phase in late
May involves more activity in baseball, softball, summer gymnastics, and swim programs
while keeping the numbers low. In late June, programs would hopefully get back to
normal. Keeping numbers low and keeping areas sanitized are main considerations as
plans for opening develop. Curbside service at the library opened. Staff went through
PPE training with Emergency Management. No decisions have been made on when to
open the Library. One of the things contemplated regarding the Enrichment Center is the
Veterans Assistant's need to hold in person meetings as soon as possible. Senior
Services went back to providing frozen meals for the week, and they plan to do the same
next week. COLTS Drivers are expected to be very busy and there have been sanitary
precautions installed in the vans. Plans are still in progress and should be formalized by
the end of the week. The Governor is expected to announce what Phase 1 will look like
in the next couple of days.
VIII. COMMISSIONERS COMMENTS
ADJOURN
Motion: Motion to adjourn.
