VI.D Declare residence located at 192 Tabitha Lane, PIN 9655-20-2542-00, as surplus <br /> And authorize staff to solicit sealed bids in accordance with N.C.G.S. 160A-268 <br /> The Board purchased land in October 2019 with Project Forge. The County retained <br /> some of the property to market as an industrial site. The site the County has retained <br /> has a residence on the property. In order to market the land for industrial purposes, <br /> the residence must be demolished or removed. The County is asking the Board to <br /> declare the property as surplus property since it will be severed from the real <br /> property, and to advertise and solicit sealed bids. If multiple bids are received, the <br /> county will award the bid to the highest responsive, responsible bidder. Once <br /> advertised and bids are received, the final approval must be taken by the Board. The Lee County Government Social Media Policy is set to replace <br /> "Policy for Social Media Usage in Lee County"adopted on September 20, 2010.
